I ordered online and received a soap that didn't look the one in the picture ( sand all one side) and it had no descernible fragrance. I wrote to the online team. Within a few days I had received an apology and a replacement that looked exactly like the one pictured, with cocoa butter dispersed throughout the bar and a strong, sublime scent. I also received an additional absolutely devine fresh face mask. Customer service is ALWAYS tops! As for the soap, use it gently, as it is abrasive...the result is the softest skin I have ever had. Genius! This is a hard bar of soap which is going to last for many, many months.

The soap itself is good and works well, what wasn’t obvious to me when I bought it in store was it contained a large percentage of actual sand. Luckily I have a wetroom shower, but when cleaning the drain strip it was completely full of sand and had to be carefully removed to avoid sitting in the drain or worse still blocking it up. The sand is fine and also highly abrasive so has the potential to mark or damage almost anything including showers and tiles. Despite having enjoyed the soap because of the issues withe the high percentage of sand and timely cleanup of the drain I won’t be using again and will default to a soap without bits in or at least ones that can degrade naturally.
I’ve scored it based on use as well as factoring for the side effect and negative aspect of the sand ingredient.

I have tried absolutely everything to improve the look of my Keratosis Pilaris on my arms and legs and this soap has been an absolute game changer for me. No more unsightly red spots and my skin is smooth for the first time in 30 years. I’ve had absolutely no problem with the soap falling apart so I can’t really understand the negative reviews on here. Please don’t ever discontinue this little treasure.

I've been a loyal lush customer for absolutely years and I've been buying soap from Lush for years too but this last batch I've bought which includes this one are just far too soft. I've used a magnetic soap holder for a very long time instead of a soap dish to prevent the soap from sitting in a bowl of slime but this soap is so soft now that it keeps falling out of the "gripper". The soap is also so soft that when using it it starts to fall apart. No one wants to pay £5+ for a bar of soap that literally goes down the plughole in less than a week!! Come on Lush change the formula back to what it was - you'll lose customers otherwise. I can't justify purchasing your soap if its not going to last longer than a week!

Do not use if you have a open/close shower door the grit stays in the grooves and is virtually impossible to clean or close the door, my shower door is ruined and virtually impossible to close anymore uve cleaned cleaned and cleaned - only use in a bath or shower with screen
