Life saver

In the winter, my lips become dry to the point where smiling and talking hurts. I had been trying other lip balm brands recommended to me, but they were only good for temporary relief. This honey trap lip balm on the other hand has been an absolute life saver. In just one day, my lips have become full of moisture. It feels extremely hydrating and soft on the lips, and has relieved my from my pain. My lips look even better and fuller than they did in the summer. This product will 100% be a regular purchase for me.

Unpleasant

The synthetic sweet smell is too strong and cloying for a lipbalm. It doesn’t taste pleasant either - like when you taste perfume (alcohol base) in your mouth. I’m sure the bitterness comes from those strong aroma-chemicals and not mint.

Bought this a month ago n OMG just can't get enough of it.

It isn’t the same

When Honey Trap first launched, it was full of healing honey and even had white chocolate in it. It was a lovely edible product to use, that healed quickly and never let me down. An absolute perfect lip balm for me. I’ve bought 3 tins in recent years and complained each time, despite being told by CS that no changes have occurred. Honey trap is now lacking in its sweet flavour and smells more like Snow Fairy, which may be great for some, but personally, I can’t stand the smell of it. A synthetic bubblegum, slightly bitter flavour, that’s just so far from what Lush used to be. I’d love to see this return to its original formula.
