Grass

I first discovered Lush in Ireland, and Grass was an immediate yes for my senses. I'm so glad Lush has brought this one back, it evokes vivid memories for me of an idyllic Irish spring and summer.

I love Grass shower gel so much. It’s an oldschool one, but for those of us who remember the herbaceous, earthy, green scents and loved them, this is a real treat. For me, this is what Lush was always about because you won’t find this anywhere else. It isn’t ‘grassy’ per se, but there are grassy accords. It’s summery and sunny. There’s a sweetness that’s comforting but also great for mornings. The community love this one for good reason and many have been desperate to get it back for a long time. I’m glad it’s back, and I’m even happier it’s in perfume form!

I adore this shower gel! Love the green, herby, subtle floral scent. This is just like the perfume. Lush - please keep this shower gel as well as the perfume!

I wanted to try this because of all the excellent feedback... unfortunately I'm now writing the first 1 star review!

The smell was giving me unpleasant flashbacks to five years ago, when I drank some disgusting green powder "superfood" supplement drink and then was sick 🤢

So I googled that product, looked through the ingredients list... sure enough, that contained wheatgrass and Grass shower gel contains wheatgrass juice. That's the only ingredient that's in both products so must be the culprit. Of course this is just my personal taste... note to future self... stay away from anything with wheatgrass!

My skin also feels a bit prickly and itchy after using this product. I've found no benefit from using it.

Wish I could get a refund but being housebound, due to health reasons, that's difficult. When I've wanted to try a new Lush shower gel I've taken the risk of ordering smallest size bottle (because I can't get to a store for samples) Sometimes the risk pays off e.g. Sticky Dates and Rose Jam, but in this case it just feels like a waste of £10.
