What's in it for you?

Shade is packed with gorgeous essential oils that give it a warm, comforting scent. Sandalwood oil is extracted from protected and sustainable trees and blended in to give this fragrance its warm and woody note, while olibanum and guaiacwood oils round it out with a little grounding and a little floral, so its scent on skin is just a little different, but oh-so-perfect on everyone.

COMPLEX AND FASCINATING!

Don't know how to describe this. On my skin Shade is bright and lively and very complex, multi faceted. Quite a surprise after reading other reviews and the description. It settled down after a while to a simpler fragrance but it is deeply satisfying. Woody? Floral? Both? Whatever it is I'm hooked.

not a sophisticated fragrance-seeker. immediate smell of alcohol/aftershave not straightaway pleasant but by far best highstreet perfume w/ obvious/singular sandalwood note that has been carefully sourced, wish other companies were more upfront about where they get sandalwood from. it isn't blended/diluted by stronger more friendly combinations (fruit/flowers). obsessed with sandalwood. nothing compares to actual sandalwood which smells epic and is seared on my brain. but this is really good. fresh. warm. soft. i estimate a 30ml will last me 6 months using twice a day.

Warm, sexy and comforting

Shade is a beautiful scent. Its very simple in that the only ingredients are sandalwood and frankincense, but it’s all that it needs to evoke relaxation and a softness around you. Though the scent does not last long, sadly. Stronger concentrations are needed and it only lasts 30 mins on my skin :(
