Sakura, the Japanese word for cherry blossom, was originally developed as a bath bomb. The goal was to capture the blissful sight and scent of the delicate pink petals that bloom every spring. Now a body spray, you'll be able to enjoy the beauty of the yearly eruption of soft flowers with a delicate fragrance that combines sunny lemon oil, sweet mimosa and intoxicating jasmine. So go on—spritz yourself with a little springtime no matter what the weather is like outside.
Sourcing essential oils and synthetics
Sourcing ingredients is far more complex than it has ever been, and this is especially the case when it comes to essential oils...
My go to scent from Lush has always been Dirty however, I think I may have found a new contender. This is completely different to Dirty but just as beautiful.
It's not as strong but yet strong enough so that you can still smell it hours later. I love how fresh and summery it smells. The citrus notes are spot on!
My new Lush love.
The scent of this I found to be a bit offputting; no real cherry blossom scent just a vague citrus smell, but not orange - I could have still enjoyed that - instead it just felt a little bland and uninspiring.
That said, the smell lasted reasonably well - though less than some of the other sprays and was not super strong. If you like the smell the bottle will likely last a while but for such an average scent it feels rather overpriced.
I don't really have words for this... of all the great smells Lush have come up with over the years, this shouldn't be the mainstay.
Have been in love with this scent since I first sprayed it in my local lush about 10 months ago. Every time I went in, I sprayed it again. Eventually, I decided to treat myself and splashed out £25 for a bodyspray. However, the scent I have in my bottle is nothing like the one I have been coveting. It smells like a strong fly-killer spray from the past. It does warm a little, but this takes 2 hours and then the scent disappears.
Not sure why mine doesn't smell like the one in the shop. Hugely disappointed that I wasted my 'treat' on insect spray.
At last! waited around 2 decades for this spray scent - was originally a solid scent. Absolutely love this. Smells like Sakura & Rub Rub Rub. Think it’s the mimosa that appeals to me. Hope Lushies keep producing this marvellous one. Keeps me feeling shower fresh all day on a hot summer’s day
