Butterball

If you’re wanting to have extremely nice moisturised skin this is the best bath bomb but if you’re look for something fun and bubbly I wouldn’t recommend it. Overall it has a nice soft smell and it’s soothing for your skin. But it’s not a typical bath bomb that is super bubbly - at least mine wasn’t. But definitely not complaining as it’s such a sweet calming scent and feels so nice on the skin.

I'm a faithful Lush customer and have purchased Butterball a few times previously (and they've been good) but this time I got a disappointing dud.

It didn't fizz like it had done in the past. It was more like dissolving wet sand. Before when I've used this bath bomb, the waters have felt soft and silky on my skin. This time it felt like nothing.

Makes me unsure whether to order this one again, maybe I was just unlucky this time and it'll be better again in future? I hope so because usually it's a nice simple but soothing product. I also have liked the Christmas edition Butterbear in the past.

I thought I’d give it a try with it being the cheapest but when I saw the size of it I felt it best to buy 2 anyway as didn’t think 1 would make a difference in the bath.
Positives - it smells lovely, I could feel the moisturising properties as soon as i got in the bath, my hair is softer and my skin smells and feels nice.
Only small down part in my opinion is the bath water stays clear - no bubbles, no colour, so it looks like I’m getting a bath in plain water so doesn’t look or feel luxurious. If the bath water were to look creamy like Lakes it would be a definite contender for my favourite.

I brought this recently, and I’m so glad I did, I love the scent of this bath bomb, floral notes coming from the Ylang Ylang, and the cocoa butter and the vanilla make it so moisturising, I used half of the bath bomb, so I can use the second half for another bath, I paired this bath bomb with the Life’s A Beach Showder and the Let The Good Times Roll Body Spray.
I’ll have to purchase another butterball bath bomb soon.
I would definitely recommend this Bath Bomb to all my family and friends!!

I received one as a free gift with my first online purchase. It was on my shopping list anyway. Vanilla and cocoa butter are always top of my list so I was thrilled. Highly moisturising with gentle colouring and a delicate and delicious fragrance.
