Rhubarb and Custard

The soap is very VERY drying and doesn't really smell of rhubarb or custard, just a general sweet smell. Very use to lush being hydrating and smelling very close to the description if not perfectly so quite odd.

All I get is an overly powerful black pepper smell. No custard or rhubarb smell at all. This one is straight to the bin.

I received a small trial piece of this soap in an order and boy did they choose well! I adore this soap so much and went and bought a full size one. I love that the soap is soft and I mainly use it as a hand wash in the kitchen (not in the shower). I fear that because it's so soft, being left in a wet shower may make it too soggy and not usable. This works for me because it's lasted quite a while. The creamy texture is gorgeous, lathers really well and leaves my hands feeling soft and moisturised. It is definitely not drying to the skin! The fragrance reminds me of something from my childhood which I adore! The scent is strong, but I wouldn't say overpowering. I like that when I use it the scent lingers in my kitchen for a while. The smell is sweet, creamy and dreamy. I highly recommend this soap - but don't keep it somewhere too wet!!

I've always loved Lush then because of disability had to have walk in shower.I cant be doing with shower jelly etc. ..Then my daughter bought me a piece of this to try as she was buying her usual bath bombs etc.What can I say,I've bought another
4 pieces since as has my other daughter.We are all hooked, the smell envelopes all of the house too gorgeous!! Only prob it is a little softer than other lush soaps,cut it in 2 and it still only lasts me bout 2 weeks.Lush please keep this as a regular!

This smells AMAZING. Think when you walk into Lush - this smells like all the smells combined to one. However, it lasts around a week. Not good enough, Lush.
