You'll jump for joy at how lovely your hair is after giving this vegan conditioner a go: it works wonderfully on bleached and over-processed hair, and on everyone else too, as it's rich and moisturizing but doesn't weigh hair down. A rose water, orange blossom water and almond milk base softens, beautifies and conditions hair, and orange flower absolute, rosewood and grapefruit oils perfume your hair to make you feel Happy Happy all day long.
How to choose the perfect hair conditioner
Heads up! Keeping your hair in dazzling condition doesn’t have to be high maintenance.
I bought this conditioner twice in the last 6 months for R395 per 500ml. To my horror, it is now R665 per 500ml, only 4 months later.
I love lush products and I have been using them for years, but the recent price increase is rediculous.
American Cream and Candy Rain are wonderful in their own right, but this is the most beautifully scented conditioner I've ever used. It's earthy and herbaceous with a punch of citrus, if you love Karma then you'll absolutely love this one. I do really enjoy the scents of the other two, but they are very sweet by comparison.
As for the texture, the consistency is quite similar to American Cream, but unlike American Cream I felt as though this one didn't run straight through my hair. I have short, medium-thick hair that tends to frizz after washing. I've noticed that my hair doesn't frizz as much after using this conditioner and has left my hair feeling wonderfully soft with a lovely shine. This paired with the Wasabi Shan Kui shampoo is perfect!
This is hands down my new favourite conditioner!
This smells divine. I want to bathe myself in it fron head to toe.
I have coarse hair that usually requires a fairly heavy conditioner. Happy Happy Joy Joy is light yet conditions really well. I have waist-length hair and use about a 50p size for all my hair.
I want to thank the lovely ladies at the Clapham Junction Lush who helped me. (I’m the girl who was on the way to an interview!)
I finally got around to buying this as a lockdown treat after smelling it a while ago and it lingering on my mind. I was so eager to try it I rubbed a small bit in my very thick hair as soon as I got home and brushed it through, and wow not only did it still smell amazing but it made it sooo soft. So if anyone wants an immediate boost that might be an option.
I had been concerned about a few people saying it was very thin as a conditioner, and with my hair, I was concerned about going through it quite fast, so when I did wash my hair what I actually did was combine some into my regular conditioner and again wow! I was actually surprised at how well the fragrance has remained in my hair and again the softness it has added.
I love this hair perfume because the smell really does stay on my hair for two days! It's lovely. I personally love neroli and orange blossom so it's a winner for me. It's a light conditioner so I like it for my fine straight hair, but you'd need to use a thicker conditioner first if your hair needs more moisture. I use this for the times I know I don't want my hair to be weighed down or I just want it to smell delicious!
